Advocates in New York Want State to Lead on Offender Treatment

Advocates for correctional medication-assisted treatment (MAT) in New York believe the state has gone from pacesetter to laggard on the issue. They are making a hard push for substantial investment toward an ultimate goal of having the three approved medications for opioid dependence available in every state prison and county jail system.
