Study Refutes Claims that Methadone Clinics Linked to Higher Crime Rates

A recent study by Susan Boyd et. al. used a “microecological technique” to look for linkages between the location of Methadone clinics and crime in the City of Baltimore. Among other interesting findings the report concluded that “These results do not support the common neighborhood concern of MTCs as geographic foci of crime…”.
